Basketball with Cornell at Ithaca

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University basketball team will play its second game with Cornell at Ithaca this evening at 8 o'clock. For the past week the University team has not been playing well together. The team is also greatly weakened by the absence of Burnham, who is unable to play on account of an injured knee.

Cornell's team is at the bottom of the league, having won only one game with Princeton. Its team, however, has greatly improved lately, as is shown by its recent game with Pennsylvania which resulted in Pennsylvania's favor by the close score of 25 to 22. The University team defeated the Cornell team on January 11 by the score of 26 to 10, but owing to the present strength of the Cornell team it is expected that the score tonight will be very close.

The teams will probably line up as follows: HARVARD.  CORNELL. Broun, r.f.  l.g., Goodwin Quigley, l.f.  r.g., Chase Amberg, c.  c., Root Griffiths, r.g.  l.f., Dickerman Brooks, l.g.  r.f., Lyford
