Subscription for Dr. Grenfell's Hospital.

To the Editors of the CRIMSON:

Two years since an effort was made to raise an endowment fund for a Harvard bed in Dr. Grenfell's hospital in Labrador. At that time, some $636 was collected from students and instructors in the University. This sum was turned over to Dr. Grenfell, and by him credited to the fund contemplated. The total amount necessary for an endowment of such a bed is $1200. Dr. Grenfell's visit to this country has renewed the interest in the matter, and two subscriptions have already been received, one from an instructor and another from an anonymous giver. It has been suggested that the subscription be re-opened, and that, having served before, I again receive subscriptions.
