Fencing Tournament Mar. 29 and 30

At the annual meeting of the Intercollegiate Fencing Association, held at the New York Athletic Club last Saturday, it was decided to hold the annual championship tournament at that club on March 29 and 30. Massachusetts Institute of Technology applied for admittance to the Association, but was refused because the membership of the association was already as large as desirable.

A rule of the Amateur Fencers' League of America was adopted to govern the intercollegiate contests. By this rule a touch between the waistline and the collar will count as a point, whether the stroke is made in back or in front.

A. A. Dole '07 represented Harvard at the meeting.
