Professor E. C. Moore has received leave of absence for the second half-year to visit China as representative of the China Mission of the American Board. He intends to leave for the East about the first of February and will not return until the beginning of the next academic year. Professor Moore will visit the schools and missions throughout a large part of China, and will reach Shanghai in time for an important convention. Dr. Barton, the chief secretary of the American Board, and Dr. Warner of New York will also be in the party.
