Tennis Team Still Undefeated

HAVERFORD, PA., Oct. 3, 1907.--All the Harvard men in the intercollegiate tennis tournament won their matches again today. This leaves four Harvard men, three Pennsylvania men, and one Yale man still in the play. N. W. Niles '09 played a poor three-set match against Gordon of Princeton in which the latter was defeated, 2-6, 6-3, 6-3. Dabney did not have to play as he drew a bye. Tomorrow he plays Register with the chances for victory about even.

The doubles began this afternoon. Pell and Gardner drew a bye, and Niles and Dabney defeated Pyne and Dixon of Princeton, 8-6, 6-4.

Tomorrow Niles plays Tildon of Pennsylvania, Pell plays H. Bundy of Yale, Gardner plays Philer of Pennsylvania, and Dabney plays Register of Pennsylvania. In the doubles Gardner and Pell play Register and Tilden of Pennsylvania, and Niles and Dabney play Jones and Bundy of Yale.

The results of matches played by the University team today: N. W. Niles '09 defeated Gordon of Princeton, 2-6, 6-3, 6-3; C. C. Pell '08 beat Gerlach of Princeton, 6-3, 6-2; G. P. Gardner Jr., '10 beat N. Bundy of Yale, 6-3, 9-7.

At a meeting of the association the following officers were elected for next year: President, Register of Pennsylvania; vice-president, H. Bundy of Yale; secretary and treasurer, E. F. Dixon of Princeton.

Fall practice for the University and Freshman shooting teams will begin this afternoon.
