Second Whiting Lecture Recital

The second of the series of lecture-recitals which will be given during the winter by Mr. Arthur Whiting, will be given tonight in the Lecture Room of the Fogg Museum at 8 o'clock. Mr. Whiting will outline the characteristics of the Italian and of the German schools during the course of the recital.

Beethoven, 1770-1827 -- Sonata, C sharp minor, op. 27, No. 2. I. Adagio sostenuto. II. Allegretto, III. Presto agitato.

Brahms, 1833-1897--Ballade, G minor, op. 118. Intermezzo, E flat major, op. 117. Rhapsodle, G minor, op. 79. Scherzo, E. flat minor, op. 4.

The recital will be open only to officers and students of the University.
