The Rev. J. H. Denison, Pastor of the Central Congregational Church, Boston, will address a general meeting of the Christian Association in the parlor of Phillips Brooks House this evening at 7 o'clock. The subject of his address will be "Religious Work in the Neglected Districts," and will have special reference to settlements and summer recreation places in connection with the work in the slums of New York.
Mr. Denison was graduated from Williams in 1890, and is also a graduate of the Andover Theological Seminary. He was for eight years connected with the work of the Church of the Sea and Land, on the lower East Side of New York City. Mr. Denison is endeavoring to interest people in the work of all of the Boston city settlements, and to act as a central station by which the people of the Church are brought into connection with the points of greatest need.
All members of the University are cordially invited to attend the meeting.
