Scrub Basketball Begins Today

The scrub basketball series will begin this afternoon in the Gymnasium with the following games: at 5.45, Also Rans vs. Putnams; at 6, Acrobats vs. Ates; at 6.30, Slashers vs. Wanderers. All scores must be entered in the blue book at the Gymnasium immediately after each game.

The 14 teams entered for this series have been divided into four sections. In each section the teams will play a round robin and the winners will then play for the championship. Following is the division of teams into sections: Section A--Medies, Mugwumps, Philanthropists. Section B--Slashers, Ringers, Wanderers. Section C--Putnams, Bovines, Also Rans, Floor Walkers. Section D--Artists, Wool Gatherers, Acrobats, Ates. All independent entrants have been assigned to the Wool Gatherers.
