Special Work for Field Candidates

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Special attention for the next ten days will be devoted to track candidates who are practicing in the hammer throw, the shot-put, the high jump, and the pole vault. It is intended in this way that an opportunity may be afforded for men who are inexperienced in the field events to get special instruction in them before regular work begins in the Stadium. Men may report at the Gymnasium at any time between 10.30 A. M. and 1 P. M., or from 3 to 5.30 P. M., but if possible the pole vaulters and shot-putters should report in the morning; the hammer-throwers between 3 and 4, and the high jumpers between 4 and 5 o'clock. Men practicing for other events will be given a complete rest until the Stadium track is in good condition.
