INTERNATIONAL CHESS MATCH

By Cable Today.--Harvard-Yale-Princeton-Columbia vs. Oxford-Cambridge.

The inter-university cable chess match between Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and Columbia on one side, and Oxford and Cambridge Universities on the other, will be played today. The American team will begin play at New York this morning at 7.45 o'clock, to allow for the difference in time between this country and England. Each man will play one game, at the rate of 25 moves an hour, with a man representing the English team. The country winning the majority of games will win the challenge cup, which was won by Oxford two years ago.

Harvard will be represented by Q. A. Brackett '07 and J. L. Clark 1L. The other universities will be represented as follows: Yale, E. B. Burgess '09; Princeton, W. Ward '07; Columbia, J. Cappablanca '10 and L. J. Wolff '07.
