HOLY CROSS GAME AT 8

The University basketball team will play the third game of its schedule with Holy Cross this evening at 8 o'clock in the Gymnasium. Admission to the game will be 50 cents and season tickets will be on sale at the door.

The showing made by the University team on Friday against Wesleyan was decidedly poor, and unless a great improvement is shown tonight, the team will have very little chance of winning.

Holy Cross is credited with having one of the strongest teams in the country. On Thursday, they defeated the strong Massachusetts Agricultural College team 51 to 4.

Capt. Broun Seriously Injured.

The University basketball team will be severely handicapped for the rest of the season by the absence of Captain I. S. Broun, who has received an injury which will keep him out of the game for the remainder of the year. He wrenched his knee during a practice game before the holidays, and it was thought at first that the injury was only slight. The injured knee was treated in New York last week, and Broun returned to Cambridge and resumed practice with the team. Wednesday night, however he again wrenched his knee, and the injury later developed into water on the knee.
