The seventh Vesper service of the year, held in Appleton Chapel this afternoon at 5 o'clock, will be conducted by the Rev. Ambrose White Vernon, D.D., of New Haven, Conn. Dr. Vernon is a graduate of Princeton and a graduate and Fellow of Union Theological Seminary. He was for five years the minister of the Dartmouth College Church in Hanover. N. H., and has recently been appointed dean of the Divinity School of Yale University and professor of Pastoral Theology.
The musical program will be as follows: "Rejoice Greatly," Woodward; "Jesus Lover of My Soul," Perceval; "Lead Kindly Light," Protheroe. The soloist will be Mr. John A. Roberts.
