Freshmen Play Groton School

The Freshman football team will open its season this afternoon with Groton School at Groton. The team has had only a little over a week's practice and is consequently in a very unsettled condition, due also to the large number of candidates that have to be tried out before the best team can be chosen. Grobon has a fast team this year as usual, and has had much more time in which to organize it. They have won from the Freshman teams of the last two years, and are the favorites in today's game.

The teams will line up as follows: HARVARD 1912.  GROTON. Paine, l.e.  r.e., Lothrop Dewey, l.t.  r.t., Parker Fisher, l.g.  r.g., Bryce Knapp, c.  c., Roosevelt Blake, r.g.  l.g., Myer Gaddis, r.t.  l.t., Gardner Smith, r.e.  l.e., Howard Potter, q.b.  q.b., Clark T. Frothingham, l.h.b.  r.h.b., Sampson Pierce, r.h.b.,  l.h.b., Baker Tryon, f.b.  f.b., T. H. Frothingham
