Professor Eugen Kuehnemann, Visiting Professor of German Literature, will give a few public readings at intervals during the current academic year. The first reading will be that of Schiller's "Maria Stuart," on Monday, October 26 at 8 P. M., in Room J, Emerson Hall. At subsequent readings during the first half-year, Professor Kuehnemann will read from the works of Kliest, Grillparzer, and Hebbel respectively. In the second half-year he will read portions of Goethe's "Faust." In addition to reading from the text, Professor Kuehnemann will make a few introductory remarks concerning each author, and will also summarize briefly those portions of the text which are omitted.
