Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
A conference for the promotion of Bible study will be held this afternoon and evening in the Parlor of Phillips Brooks House. Mr. E. C. Carter '00, for several years a representative of the Harvard mission in India, and Mr. Clayton S. Cooper, head of the Bible study movement in this country, will both be present, coming on from New York particularly for this occasion. They will both be in Brooks House in the afternoon from 4 to 6.30 o'clock for conference with any men in the University who may so desire. At 6.30 o'clock a supper will be served at a nominal price of 50 cents. Immediately after the supper at 7.30 both Mr. Carter and Mr. Cooper will speak. All men in the University are cordially invited to attend and to come either in time for the supper or for the meeting afterwards. Among other guests will be Dean Hodges, of the Episcopal Theological School, Professor E. C. Moore '78, Professor J. H. Ropes '89, Rev. A. P. Fitch '00, of the Mt. Vernon Congregational Church, Boston, and Mr. A. S. Johnson '85. Tickets for the supper may be procured at Brooks House during the day. All those who are unable to be present at 6.30 o'clock are cordially invited to attend the meeting which will follow immediately afterwards at 7.30 o'clock.
