The death of Dean Wright of the Graduate School will be sorely felt in all branches of the University but particularly in the Classical Department, of which he was the head for many years. His researches and publications stamped him as an authority on classical philology, and his administrative ability was of immeasurable value in the development of the Graduate School. It is to such men as Dean Wright, men of great personal charm and profound learning, that Harvard owes the place which she now holds in this country and abroad.
