The first trails for the Freshman debatting team to debate against Yale on April 10 will be held in Upper Dane tonight at 7.30 o'clock. All men who wish to try for the team are requested to hand in their names at Stoughton 30 before noon. The list of speakers will be posted at 12.30 o'clock in Gore Hall. Those not posted will speak after the others.
The question for debate is "Resolved, That a national divorce law is desirable." All discussion as to constitutionality is barred. Every man may speak for five minutes, and twelve men will be retained. Books on the subject are reserved in Gore Hall.
The second trails will be held on Friday and ten-minute speeches will be allowed. Six men will be retained for the final trails next Tuesday when a debate will be held, with twelve-minute speeches and five minutes for rebuttal. The three men chosen for the first team will hold practice debates with the second team untill the debate with Yale.
