The Corporation has received the following letter from the Mayor of Cambridge:

To the President and Fellows of Harvard College, Cambridge, Mass.;

Gentlemen:--I hereby acknowledge receipt of Combination Engine and Hose Wagon, with a pair of horses and harnesses for said horses, the same being the gift to the City of Cambridge by vote of the President and Fellows of Harvard College on March 13, 1906; which gift was accepted in behalf of the City of Cambridge by vote of the City Council, approved by the Mayor, on October 10, 1907.

This equipment has been this day installed at the House of Engine No. 7 on Main street, opposite Sixth street, and, I am informed by the Chief Engineer of the Fire Department, is satisfactory in every respect.

Permit me to again extend the thanks of the City of Cambridge to the President and Fellows of Harvard College for this very acceptable and timely gift. Respectively,   WALTER C. WARDWELL, Mayor.
