Second Crew May Become Four-Oar

On account of the absence of C. Morgan '08, who has been rowing at stroke the University second crew went out as a four-oar yesterday afternoon. It is now probable that a coxless four-oar will be developed for the American Henley Regatta at Philadelphia on May 23, instead of an eight. Last year the second crew was not broken up into four oars until May 27, and this plan will therefore give the four-oar two more weeks than usual in which to prepare for the Yale race on June 25. E. Cutler was able to row yesterday after being out of the boat for nearly two weeks, and was shifted from bow to stroke.

The crew went out yesterday in the following order:

Stroke--E. Cutler; 3, Withington; 2, Bacon; bow, Marvin; cox., King.
