Entries for the Leiter Cup baseball series will close this evening at 6 o'clock, when the blue-books will be removed from Leavitt & Peirce's. Names of the team, the captain, and twelve actual players must be given with team entries, and single entries must specify their positions, after which they will be assigned to a team with a manager. The series will be an elimination tournament, and as many games will be played each day as there are available diamonds. The schedule will be published in tomorrow's CRIMSON, and the first round will begin Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock; Saturday's games are to be played at 3 o'clock and other at 4.
Cups will be given to the winning team, and, at the end of the contest, an all-Leiter Cup team will be organized to play the second University nine. Rules will be found in the CRIMSON of April 30.
