PETITION TO BE DELIVERED

At Faculty Meeting This Afternoon.--Open Until One.--1500 Names.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The undergraduate petition to the Faculty of Arts and Sciences will be delivered at the meeting this afternoon. At an early hour last evening 1500 names had been signed to the petition, which had taken a second start and was growing rapidly. Before it is handed in it promises to bear the names of considerably more than three-fourths of the entire undergraduate body.

There are still, however, a good many men who have neglected to sign. The petition will remain at the CRIMSON office until shortly after 1 o'clock today, in order to secure the signatures of the remaining men, before it is delivered to the Dean of the Faculty.
