Progress of Class Tennis Tournament

The following matches in the first round of the interclass tennis tournament were played yesterday: J. R. Tunis '11 defeated I. S. Joseph '11, 4-6, 6-2, 6-2; S. C. Simons '11 defeated L. J. Wyeth '11, 6-0, 6-2; C. P. Aiken '11 defeated F. P. Abbot '11, 6-1 6-3. The rest of the matches, which were postponed on account of rain, will be played this afternoon, as follows:

1910--Jarvis Field at 2.30: M. A. Mack vs. T. B. Townsend; E. G. Mears vs. C. H. Ernst; H. L. Large vs. S. Hall; J. L. Stoddard vs. R. E. Andrews; H. Peters vs. C. A. Munn; W. S. Milius vs. D. V. Leland; H. B. Richardson vs. S.C. Adams; R. H. Smith vs. H. Fish; J. F. Bay vs. W. S. Leeds.

1911--Soldiers Field at 2.30: H. Nickerson vs. F. W. Paul; H. C. Kittredge vs. G. D. Howie; W. A. Lawrence vs. F. F. A. Pearson; E. M. Ach vs. D. F. Cutler; A. Sweetser vs. W. C. Hodgdon; H. A. Johnson vs. R. Crosbie; W. B. Frasor-Campbell vs. E. W. Ellis.

The trials to select the University tennis team will also be held on Soldiers Field this afternoon. The schedule of matches is as follows:
