FIRST MEETING OF COURSES

Courses of instruction in studies offered by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences begin this morning at 9 o'clock. For times of meeting, see the Announcement of Courses of Instruction, 2d edition, September 27, 1909-10, to be obtained at the Harvard Union, first floor, Reading Room; for places of meeting, see official bulletin boards.

Students are required to enroll at the first meetings of their courses.

The following provisional assignment of recitation rooms indicates the places for the first meetings in courses of study offered by the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. For the days and hours when the courses will be given, see the pamphlet entitled "Announcement of the Courses of Instruction," 2nd edition, September 27, 1909.

Prescribed Studies.

English A.--The first meetings in the course will be held at 10, 11 and 12 on Friday, October 1, and 10 and 11 on Saturday, October 2, in Sever 11. Section lists will be posted in the south entry of University Hall and at the door of Sever 3, Friday morning, October 1, at 8 A.M.
