Opening of Song Competition Today

The competition to choose songs to be sung at the Yale football game on November 20, starts today. All members of the University are urged to compete. Contestants should remember that such songs need a good swing, limited range, and sensible words, to make them effective. Songs should be sent to F. L. Foster, Holworthy 17, under an assumed name, before noon on November 1. The real name of the composer, together with his assumed name, should be sent in a sealed envelope to the Harvard Song Committee, Holworthy 17.
