The gymnastic team will open its season with a meeting at 25 Holyoke street tonight. The meeting will be open to all undergraduates interested in gymnastics. Coach C. L. Schrader will discuss the plans and outline the work for the year. The prospects for the team are excellent as only one man was lost by graduation, and as there are a number of promising candidates from the Sophomore class. A Freshman team will be organized for the first time this year.
Just before the Christmas holdiays a novice meet will be held, which is open to all men who have never participated in a University meet or exhibition. A cup has been offered by Dr. D. A. Sargent, which will be awarded to the winner.
After the vacation exhibitions will be given at Andover and Exeter Academies, and in the Brookline Municipal Gymnasium. Meets have been arranged with Yale at Cambridge and Columbia at New York. The Intercollegiate Gymnastic Meet will come in the latter part of March.
