Swimming Team Won in New York

The University swimming team won the dual meet with the College of the City of New York in the Madison Square Garden Saturday evening, by the score of 37 1-2 to 15 1-2.

The 100-yard swim was the closest and most exciting event of the evening. The relay and water-polo teams won easily. On account of the poor facilities of the tank, the plunge for distance was not competed for and the points were divided.

50-yard dash--Won by Hoyt (H.); second, Rice (H.); third, Stern (C.C.N.Y.). Time--29 2-5s.

100-yard swim--Won by Hoyt (H.); second, Stern (C.C.N.Y.); third, Aspinwall (H.). Time--1m. 13s.

220-yard swim--Won by Aspinwall (H.); second, Bischoff (C.C.N.Y.); third, Becker (C.C.N.Y.). Time--3m 24 2-5s.

Relay race--Won by Harvard: Lynes, Rice, Hoyt, Aspinwall. Time--2m, 5 4-5s.

Fancy diving--Won by Burnham (H.); second, Fielding (C.C.N.Y.); third, Jose (H.).
