Second Baseball Squad Called Out

Candidates for the University second baseball team will report on Soldiers Field this afternoon at 2.30 o'clock. Practice will be held regularly from now on and a schedule of games arranged with outside teams.

The second team affords an excellent opportunity for a large number of men to get good training in baseball, and there is also an additional incentive in the prospect of being taken onto the University squad if sufficient ability is shown. Frank Pomeroy Ferguson '10, of Jamaica, Long Island, has been appointed captain. Ferguson played centre field on his Freshman team and held the same position on the University second team last year.
