Freshmen vs. Exeter Today

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Freshman football team will play its third game this season against Phillips Exeter Academy at Exeter this afternoon at 3 o'clock. As a result of injuries received in the previous games and in practice, the Freshman line has not developed as fast as was expected. A lamentable tendency to fumble has not been eradicated from the backfield.

Exeter has the usual strong team and so far has played six games, winning from Brewster Academy, 28 to 0, and from Cushing Academy, 12 to 5. In games played against Bates College and the Princeton freshmen, Exeter tied the score and was defeated by the Pennsylvania freshmen, 6 to 0, and by Bowdoin, 14 to 2.

The line-ups: HARVARD 1914.  EXETER. C. Curtis, l.e.  r.e., McCade Gardiner, l.t.  r.t., Fitzpatrick McGuire, l.g.  r.g., Neal Storer, c.  c., Mitchell Mills, r.g.  l.g., Withington Willetts, r.t.  l.t., Tousley Bulkeley, r.e.  l.e., Faulkner Friedley, q.b.  q.b., Matthews Reynolds, l.h.b.  r.h.b., Dempsey Chatfield, r.h.b.  l.h.b., Brickley Bettle, f.b.  f.b., Dickerman
