As a result of the trial run of the University cross-country squad, which was held over the Chestnut Hill course yesterday, the following men were chosen to run against the Massachusetts Institute of Technology next Saturday; C. W. Burrage '13, H. L. Groves '12, P. C. Heald '11, H. Jaques, Jr., 11, W. H. Lacey '12, H. P. Lawless '13, P. Newton '11, W. A. Perkins '12, W., P. Rogers '11, S. Nichols '13, E. L. Viets '11, P. R. Withington '12. The men finished the race in the following order: H. P. Lawless '13, H. Jaques, Jr., '11, S. Nichols '13, W. H. Lacey '12, W. P. Rogers '11, C. W. Burrage '13, W. A. Perkins '12, H. L. Groves 12, P. Newton '11, P. C. Heald '11, G. Boyd '12, W. F. Ryan '11, and L. H. Lanman '12. Two new men were added to the training table as a result of the trial, W. P. Rogers '11, and C. W. Burrage '13.
The race next Saturday will start at 3 o'clock and will be held over the Chestnut Hill course, which is six and a quarter miles long. Last year the Technology team won.
