A tablet has just been placed in the second story of Langdell Hall in memory of the late Edward Henry Strobel '77, formerly Bemis Professor of International Law, and at the time of his death, general adviser to His Siamese Majesty's government. This tablet, which is of cream-white Vermont marble, with gilt bronze lettering, was designed by the architect A. W. Longlellow '76 and constructed by John Evans & Co. It is a gift to the College in memory of their classmate Strobel, by the class of 1877, acting through a committee consisting of Morris Gray, A. Lawrence Lowell, Lindsay Swift, chairman, and John F. Tyler, secretary.
