TEAM'S SIGNAL DRILL SHORT

Potter and T. H. Frothingham Now Only Regulars Out of Practice Work.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University football team was given light work yesterday afternoon, and did not go into the Stadium until rather late, as the first hour was spent in a long blackboard talk in the Locker Building. Following this, there was a short drill in fundamentals, and then Team A lined up and tried various formations against Team B. Just before the end of the afternoon's work, both teams ran through their signals.

Perkins returned to his position at centre, P. D. Smith playing that position on Team B. Wigglesworth played quarterback, and Corbett, T. Frothingham and Morrison were in the backfield. All of these men are in first-class condition and will probably start in the Dartmouth game. The only man absent from practice was Potter, who is laid up with a muscle bruise. T. H. Frothingham followed the practice in street clothes, as his leg is still weak. H. E. Kersburg '06 and H. Foster '07 watched the work from the sidelines. In order to keep the field in good condition for the Dartmouth game, it is covered with hay every evening. The line-ups: TEAM A.  TEAM B. Lewis, l.e.  r.e., Felton McKay, l.t.  r.t., Bush Minot, l.g.  r.g., Keays Perkins, c.  c., P. Smith Fisher, r.g.  l.g., Blodgett Withington, r.t.  l.t., Hann L.
