The University association football team was defeated by Haverford in the fourth game of the season yesterday afternoon at Haverford, Pennsylvania, by a score of 4 to 0. The game was fast and hard-fought. Haverford's offence, however, was very strong and their whole team showed more experience than the University team. Leland, Cushing and Chadwick played the best game for Harvard, while Young and Downing excelled for Haverford.
