The Freshman hockey team won its second regular game by defeating the Crescent Hockey Club, 4 to 1, in the Boston Arena last evening. The team-play on both sides was poor, and all the goals were scored from scrimmages or by individual work. Of the forwards, Adams and Sortwell did the best work. Hopkins also played well, but was often a considerable distance behind the play. The Freshman defence was good, Wingate and Willetts keeping the opposing forwards well away from the goal.

Adams made the first score from a scrimmage in front of the cage shortly after the game began. A few minutes later Hopkins scored on a shot from the side of the rink. Sortwell made the final goal of the period.

In the second period the Crescents braced and Tuck successded in scoring from a scrimmage after two minuted of play. For the rest of the period the play was very even. Just as time was called Sortwell scored again for the Freshmen.
