The University quarter and half-mile relay teams will race the Massachusetts Institute of Technology at the third annual meet of the Armory Athletic Association of Rhode Island in the Providence Armory, Saturday, January 28.
In addition to the relay races there will be the following open handicap events: 50-yards dash, 50-yards high-hurdles, 1000-yards run, three mile run, running high-jump-and-8-pound-shot-put. The prizes awarded will be silver cups and medals.
Entries for these events will be received up to Saturday by Lieutenant Lester S. Hill, Jr., 1004 Union Trust Co. Building, Providence, R.I. Each contestant must be registered under the A. A. U. and must give his number with his entry, otherwise he will not be allowed to compete.
