Few Men at Rowing Practice

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Voluntary rowing practice for the candidates for the University and Freshman crews was held for the first time in the University boathouse yesterday afternoon and only about 15 men reported. Coach Wray was present and gave the men individual instruction on the machines. This voluntary work will continue until the mid-year examination period and Coach Wray will be on hand every afternoon except Saturdays. Regular practice will begin immediately after the examinations. It is expected that hereafter a very much larger number of men will avail themselves of the opportunity for this preliminary work.
