FOUR-MILE RACE AT 3.45

Three University Boats to Hold Handicap Race from Stillman Infirmary to Union Boat Club.

The three University crews will hold their annual handicap race over the four-mile course from the Stillman Infirmary to the Union Boat Club this afternoon at 3.45 o'clock, weather conditions permitting. Although the Freshman crew will practice during the remainder of the week, today's race practically concludes fall eight-oared rowing. The single scull race for the cup offered by R. F. Herrick '90 will be rowed sometime next week. Today the first University crew will give the second and third crews 20 -- and 45-second starts respectively.

Following are the orders of the three crews:

University crew.-- Stroke, Chanler; 7, Newton; 6, Strong; 5, Mills; 4, Goodale; 3, Metcalf; 2, Meyer; bow, Balch; cox., C. Abeles.

Second crew.-- Stroke, Eager; 7, E. D. Morgan; 6, Nelson; 5, L. Curtis; 4, Stratton; 3, Reynolds; 2, Cromble; bow, Carver; cox., A. Abeles.

Third crew.-- Stroke, Sargent; 7, Converse; 6, Taylor; 5, Walker; 4, J. S. Morgan; 3, Parker; 2, E. D. Curtis; bow, Peabody; cox., Brownlee.
