The following table shows the active, associate, and non-resident membership figures of the Union to date, as compared with the three previous years. The small total this year is explained by the fact that the figures represent only the membership up to the present time, whereas they will undoubtedly be as large as last year by the end of the present College year. The total figures of the last two years, however, are smaller by two and three hundred, respectively, than the years 1906 and 1907, and the non-resident membership has shown steady decline since 1906.
