Phillips Andover Academy defeated the Yale freshmen in a hard-played game last Saturday afternoon by the score of 11 to 6. The first touchdown occurred when Roberts of Andover blocked Smith's punt on Yale's 20-yard line. A forward pass succeeded and Van Brocklin ran over the line for a score. The try for goal failed. In the next quarter, by a series of line plunges, Yale managed to score and kick the goal. A second forward pass form Mahan to Van Brocklin in the third period and a goal from touchdown gave Andover the winning points.
