The preliminary bouts for the University wrestling championships will be held in the Gymnasium tomorrow evening at 8 o'clock. Entries must be left in the wrestling room at the Gymnasium before 4 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, and should contain the name, class and weight of the contestant. All men who intend to compete and who have not taken a strength test since January 1 must take one this afternoon between 2 and 4 o'clock.
The finals will be held in connection with the annual Carnival at Mechanics Hall next Thursday. Cups will be given for first and second places in each of the following classes: 120 pounds, 135 pounds, 145 pounds, 158 pounds, and in the heavy-weight class if there are a sufficient number of entries. As there have been only 17 entries for these championships, all men who have had experience in wrestling, whether or not members of the Wrestling Association, are urged to hand in their entries at once.
