The northern division of the intercollegiate fencing meet held at West Point on Saturday, resulted in a tie between Cornell and West Point with 18 bouts each, and a tie between Harvard and Yale with 9 bouts each. The latter tie was played off and Harvard won, thus gaining a place in the final round. J. A. MacLaughlin, '11, did the best work, winning 8 bouts.
In the southern division held at Annapolis on the same day, Annapolis, Pennsylvania, and Columbia qualified, and will enter the final round, which will be held next Friday and Saturday at the Hotel Astor, New York.
