The Harvard Aeronautical Society has definitely decided to hold an intercollegiate glider meet at Squantum, May 4, 5, and 6.
The aeronautical societies of Cornell, Dartmouth, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Pennsylvania, and Tufts will compete. The contests will be divided into two classes, one for planes that are controlled by the body and the second for those which are mechanically controlled. The contests in each class will be for distance, height, accuracy in alighting, and for the fastest and slowest time. There will be a cup awarded the winner of each event. The Harvard society has under construction at present a glider designed after the Wright model.
