Time for Chess Entries Extended

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The time for handing in entries for the novice chess tournament has been extended to 6 o'clock today, owing to the small number of entries. Any member of the University may compete in this tournament by paying a fee of 25 cents. A silver cup will be awarded to the winner, and the next three contestants will receive prizes.

The tournament will be conducted in three groups and three men from each group will meet in the final round, which is to be a round-robin.

During the tournament, the Chess Club room, Grays 19, will be open to players every afternoon and evening.
