Dr. G.C. Cox, Ph.D., of the Department of Philosophy, will give the first of a series of eight lectures on "The Philosophy of Pure Experience of Richard Avenarius" in Emerson F this afternoon at 4.30 o'clock. The title of today's lecture is "The Man and his Problem."

This series is primarily for the benefit of Harvard and Radcliffe students, but other persons may be admitted upon application to the lecturer.
