In the semi-finals of the interscholastic tennis tournament played yesterday afternoon, G. C. Caner, of St. Mark's, defeated E. S. Draper, Jr., of Noble's and Greenough, 6-2, 6-2, and J. H. MacVeagh, of Exeter, defeated H. L. Carr, of Exeter, 6-3, 6-4. As a result the standing of the schools is now as follows: Exeter 11, St. Mark's 4, Noble's 3, Newton 3, Volkmann 2, Rogers 2, Waltham 2, Worcester Classical 2, Wellesley 1, Malden 1.

The final match between Caner and MacVeagh will be played on Jarvis Field tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. The winner will have the right to enter the tournament at Newport in August for the national interscholastic championship. Tomorrow's match will have no effect on the standing of the schools, as Exeter has already won the tournament and St. Mark's second place.
