Bureaus of Information Open Today

Information bureaus will be open today in the Union, the Phillips Brooks House, and the Cosmopolitan Club Rooms in Holyoke House.

Union Information Bureau.

An information bureau has been established in the Reading Room of the Union. Official circulars, course pamphlets, and maps of Cambridge can be obtained there and inquiries regarding the whereabouts of officers of the University, buildings, streets, etc., will be answered. This information bureau will be maintained for the remainder of this week.

The following men will be in charge today:

9-19 A. M., G. N. Phillips.

10-11 A.M., R. W. Williams.

11-12 A. M., C. M. Storey.

12-1 P. M., R. F. Duncan.

1-2 P. M., J. Coulson, Jr.

2-3 P. M., H. L. Gaddis.

3-4 P. M., R. C. Piper.

4-5 P. M., R. B. Batchelder.

Brooks House Association.

Under the auspices of the Phillips Brooks House Association, an Information Bureau is maintained at Phillips Brooks House from the beginning of the admission examinations till the second week of the College year. The Bureau is open daily from 8 A. M. to 5 P. M. during this period, and a student committee welcomes new men and responds to questions about rooms, room-mates, courses, etc., and distributes University pamphlets. Students are invited to use the reading, writing, and study rooms. On Friday evening, September 29, at 8 o'clock, the Association will give a reception to incoming undergraduates, at which several prominent undergraduates and one or two Faculty members will speak.

The Cosmopolitan Club.

The Cosmopolitan Club will conduct an information bureau for the benefit of foreign students coming to Cambridge for the first time in the rooms of the club, 7 and 8 Holyoke House. Members of the club will be in the rooms from 10 A. M. to 4 P. M. every day until Saturday. The club will give a reception to foreign students in the club rooms on the evening of Monday, October 9.
