SOCIAL SERVICE CONFERENCE

PRESIDENT LOWELL AMONG SPEAKERS WHO WILL ADDRESS STUDENTS TONIGHT.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Unusual interest is attached to the annual Social Service Conference which is to be held in Brooks House tonight at 8 o'clock because of the program of speakers, which includes President Lowell, R. W. Kelso '04, P. J. Stearns '13 and N. L. Tibbetts '15. The meeting will be open to all members of the University. For the new men who have just entered College, especially, and for others who were somewhat in doubt whether they should sign up on their registration cards for social service work or not, tonight's meeting will be of great interest. Both the interested and doubtful are urged by the leaders of Phillips Brooks House work to attend, and take part in the enthusiasm for the social service work which is sure to result from hearing it clearly explained as to character and purpose by its strongest supporters.

The speakers who are on the program for tonight will offer a presentation of the aims, difficulties and results of work with boys' clubs, night schools and other forms of the social service work to which university students are best able to adapt themselves with their College activities.
