There should be a large response tonight to the call for candidates for the University and Freshman swimming teams. This year swimming resumes its existence as an organized sport, and the prospects are bright for a successful season. A competent coach has been season. A competent coach has been secured and an excellent schedule arranged, including a match with Yale. Owing to the limited time for practice the season is short, and it is therefore necessary that work should be started at once. To insure the success of the first season and the continuance of the sport on an organized basis, every man interested in swimming should report tonight and hear outlined the plans of the season.
