SEVENTY-SIX CANDIDATES

FOR CRIMSON.--MORE SOPHOMORES URGED TO TRY FOR NEWS COMPETITION.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

At a meeting held in the CRIMSON Office Wednesday evening 76 men from the classes of 1913, 1914 and 1915 handed in their names as candidates for positions on the editorial board of the CRIMSON. Of these 36 candidates entered the editorial competition, 20 Juniors and 16 Sophomores. Of the 40 news candidates 34 are from the Freshman class. This means that there are but six Sophomores who have entered the news competition, and as there are several vacancies to be filled on the 1914 board, it is hoped that many more Sophomores will report for this competition. Any men from the class of 1914 who wish to enter the news competition may hand in their names at the CRIMSON Office this morning between 10 and 11 o'clock or this evening at 7 o'clock.

The following men from the classes of 1913, 1914 and 1915 have already entered the competition for positions on the editorial board:
