SNAPPY HOCKEY PRACTICE

UNIVERSITY TEAM AGAIN MAKES EXCELLENT SHOWING IN GAME AGAINST B. A. A. SEVEN.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Hockey practice last night consisted of a hard 25-minute scrimmage against the B. A. A. seven. While the first team men were in the game two goals were scored and the B. A. A. was prevented from caging the puck at all.

On the whole the University men showed improvement. Although the team-work was no better than usual, the forwards were possessed with more than the usual amount of speed and played with much dash. The defence was some what weakened by the absence of Blackall, who is laid up with a slight injury. He will without doubt play on Saturday. Wingate did well, but was not very fast in getting the puck out of the corners.
