LECTURE AND READING WILL BE OPEN TO MEMBERS OF UNIVERSITY.

In commemoration of the one-hundredth anniversary of the birth of Charles Dickens, Professor Copeland will lecture on, and read selections from, the famous novelist, in the Dining Room of the Union this evening at 9 o'clock. His subject will be "Dickens's Centenary; a Brief Address and Reading from His Novels." Contrary to the usual custom the reading will be open to all members of the University.

This is the second of a series of five readings to be given by Professor Copeland this winter. On Wednesday evening February 14, he will give the third one on the subject, "A Lay Sermon on Studies versus 'Interests and Activities'."
